1 Day Private Ruaha National Park Safari from Iringa in Tanzania (2026 - 2027) - Tour details
Iringa to Ruaha National Park and back
You’re adventure begins early in the morning when you’re guide collects you from you’re hotel or residence in Iringa. After a scenic 2-hour drive, you’ll enter the gates of Ruaha, one of Tanzania’s most untouched and wildlife-rich parks.
The day unfolds with thrilling game drives across the park’s varied landscapes—from baobab-dotted plains to riverine forests along the mighty Ruaha River. Keep you’re eyes open for elephants in great herds, crocodiles basking on the riverbanks, and the chance of spotting lions or even leopards.
At midday, pause for a picnic lunch inside the park, enjoying the peaceful surroundings before resuming you’re wildlife exploration. By late afternoon (around 4:00 pm), you’ll exit the park and head back to Iringa, arriving in time for dinner. Optional cultural visits to Isimila Stone Age Site, Mkwawa Museum, or local craft centers can be arranged for those wishing to extend the day.
