An exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq. km game park with its low hills and savannah type rolling grasslands, gallery forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, and the variety of antelopes, the Masai giraffe and the Burchell zebra. The carnivores are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. You will have an early morning breakfast. Then depart to Isebania Border with a packed lunch, on your way to North Serengeti National Park. Upon reaching the border finalize with the immigration department. Then exchange the vehicle – which you will be using while in Tanzania. Embark with the journey to the park where you will arrive in the evening. we\'ll start our game drive to the Kogatende area, searching around the kopjes for carnivores and the large migration groups that will be preparing to cross the Mara River into Kenya. Home to large numbers of hippos and Nile crocodiles, the Mara River is the last major obstacle standing between the Wildebeest Migration and the relative safety of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. If you're patient and a little lucky, you may even get to witness the death-defying crossing itself where wildebeest and zebras brave the river\'s currents and crocodiles in an attempt to reach safety.
