Fly In Mikumi National Park from Zanzibar - Game Drive
Your journey begins early as you transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport for a 7:00 am flight to Mikumi National Park. Arriving around 8:00 am, you’ll meet your safari guide and set off immediately on a thrilling game drive. Mikumi’s wide plains offer a high chance of spotting elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and countless bird species. Midday, enjoy a bush buffet lunch at Mikumi Cottage Restaurant, where playful baboons and other wildlife often linger nearby. After lunch, continue your game drive into the late afternoon, soaking in Tanzania’s wilderness from your open-sided jeep. In the evening, head to your Lodge, a cozy mid-range lodge set just outside the park, where dinner awaits.
