Mwanza to Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti safari tour starts early in the morning at 5:30 a.m. It’s about a 145 km drive from Mwanza to the Ndabaka entry gate, taking approximately 2 to 3 hours. After registration, begin the game drive, exploring the Western Corridor and observing wildlife in their natural habitats. Visit the Grumeti River and Retina Hippo Pool, where hippos and giant Nile crocodiles thrive. Continue to the Seronera area, where you may spot leopards, lion prides, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, buffaloes, wildebeests, zebras, and various bird species. You can stop at the Serengeti Visitor’s Center for a self-prepared lunch. After an exciting day of game viewing, return to the camp/lodge.
