Arusha to Tarangire National Park and Overnight at Manyara
After an early breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, we embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, Famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers an exciting start to your safari adventure. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, attracts numerous animals, with wildlife sightings. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to dine amid nature. In the late afternoon, we drive to a mid-range lodge/tented camp at Manyara, where you will have dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Descending 600 meters into the crater, you’ll experience a full-day game drive in this natural wonder, home of lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s diverse ecosystem supports large hippo pools, pink flamingo-lined soda lakes, and vast grasslands teeming with wildebeest, zebras, and hyenas. We enjoy a picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, surrounded by stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, we ascend the crater rim and drive to a mid-range lodge/tented camp near Lake Manyara for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay

After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem known for its tree-climbing lions, large populations of flamingos, and diverse ecosystems ranging from lush groundwater forests to open savannah. Enjoy a morning game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and the park’s famous birdlife along the alkaline lake. A picnic lunch is served inside the park, allowing you to soak in the breathtaking surroundings. In the early afternoon, we drive back to Arusha between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM and this marks the end of the safari.
